Mandy 1st April 2022

Dearest Ellame, I knew you as a little girl, you were Lily’s best friend. A beautiful, open hearted child, full of mischief and belly laughs and quite the adventurer (do you remember the time I found you trying to climb out of our upstairs window?) You were a fiercely loyal friend who always looked out for Lily. She came home one day so impressed because you had shown her how to deal with bullies (a well placed shove if I remember). I loved you for that. but you were also so sensitive, and strangely terrified of our poodle. I am so sorry the world and everyone who loved you has lost you. You leave broken hearts behind you but I know you are striding forward on your next adventure.. and one day, you and Lily will meet back up and make each other giggle all over again, but in the meantime, when I think of you I will always hear you playing in the trees out by our garden, laughing like Barbara Windsor, like it was yesterday
