One year for my Birthday (in January) a young Ellame came to my house to give me a card and present as she normally did. This particular year,however, it had snowed so she also presented me with a snowball. I had the idea of freezing the said snowball and when it was her Birthday in June I returned the snowball to Ellame which resulted in much laughter and giggles. This tradition then continued over the years until the snowball had melted so much that we couldn't carry on the joke.

This year on my Birthday I had a visit from Ellame , accompanied by Arthur, who sang Happy Birthday to me on my doorstep before giving me my card and present; this was a special moment and one that I will treasure forever.

I will miss our present and card giving Ellame but will forever hold you close to my heart.
