Everyday before bed we’d go up early and sit at the nurses sation and have tea. I remember you would always without fail have peppermint and introduced me to it. From that day on it was our little alone time where we could chill out, process the day and talk over tea while listening to some questionable music. Peppermint tea doesnt seem to taste the same since you’ve been gone but i will aways cherish the small amount of time i got to spend with you.
